Our Values Continued
We value unity among the diverse groups of people that God brings to our church.
There is neither Jew nor Greek, slave nor free, male nor female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus. Galatians 3:28
We value our God given task to help people find and follow Jesus.
Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. Matthew 28:19,20
We value the power of prayer.
The prayer of a righteous man is powerful and effective. James 5:16
We value every Christian's call to use their spiritual gifts to minister to others.
A spiritual gift is given to each of us as a means of helping the entire church. 1 Corinthians 12:7 (New Living Testament)
We value every Christian's call to be in close relationship with other Christians.
And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds. Let us not give up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but let us encourage one another--and all the more as you see the Day approaching. Hebrews 10:24,25
We value every Christian's call to be generous with their financial resources.
Command those who are rich in this present world not to be arrogant nor to put their hope in wealth, which is so uncertain, but to put their hope in God, who richly provides us with everything for our enjoyment. Command them to do good, to be rich in good deeds, and to be generous and willing to share. 1 Timothy 6:17,18
We value the continual improvement of church leadership structures, processes and skills.
For we are taking pains to do what is right, not only in the eyes of the Lord but also in the eyes of men. 2 Corinthians 8:19

They devoted themselves to the apostles' teaching and to the fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer. Everyone was filled with awe, and many wonders and miraculous signs were done by the apostles. All the believers were together and had everything in common.
- Acts 2:42-44
