What Can I Expect at Forest Park?
You can expect to find people just like you, trying to honor God as best they can and make the most of their lives. You can expect to see people dressed in jeans and a t-shirt standing next to someone who might be dressed in a coat and tie. Come as you are and Connect to God in a way He connects with you!
Forest Park Covenant Church opens their doors to children, students, adults, and families from many diverse backgrounds. As a community of people who choose to follow Jesus Christ and his teachings in every part of our lives, we are striving to become the kind of church described in the Bible-a church with…
- relevant teachings
- heart-felt worship
- honest friendships
- constant prayer
- compassionate care
We would like to have the kind of contagious Christianity that can influence
and encourage our entire community, one life at a time.
Our vision is to help people connect to God, connect to
one another, and connect to the world. Your ability to connect
to an area for learning, growing, and serving is important
to us.
Hospitality Center
Our Connections Coordinator, Andrea
Galehouse, would enjoy meeting you near "The Rock"
in the lobby before or immediately following our Sunday
morning services. She is able to provide general information
to guests new to Forest Park and help those seeking church
membership begin this process.
Information Center
Located at the main entrance to the Sanctuary on either
side, the Information Center is staffed before and after
our Sunday morning worship services to answer a broad range
of questions. You can find information and the locations
of Adult Bible Fellowships, children's and youth programming,
as well as sign-up sheets for various events. Brochures
of various ministries and events are also located at the
Information Center.
Making Connections
If you are interested in learning more about the church,
we invite you to attend a new member workshop, "Connecting
with Forest Park." Pastor Russ Carlson leads this 2-hour
seminar several times a year providing information about
our beliefs, values, vision and congregational life. Our next seminar is scheduled for October 24, 2010.
If you would like to attend one of these classes, please
call the church office or contact Andrea
Galehouse to find out when it will be offered.

For even the Son of Man came not to be served but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many.
