Worship Arts Ministries
We desire to engage people in the ministry tools of vocal music, instrumental music, and drama along with the technical resources of sound, video, and multimedia. You become a part of a team that draws people to the beauty of Jesus Christ by the excellence of the art in our worship gatherings.
Sanctuary Choir
Our adult choir rehearses on Wednesday evenings at 7:00 p.m. They sing during the traditional worship hour almost every Sunday during the school year and provide seasonal productions.
Praise Bands
Instrumentalists rotate in a band that accompanies our contemporary worship gatherings on Sunday mornings.
Worship Teams
Singers rotate in an ensemble that leads contemporary worship on Sunday mornings.
Technical Arts
Sound technicians and visual equipment operators are important members of the Worship Arts team.
Forest Park Bells
The handbell choir contributes to our traditional worship gatherings on occasion.
Accompanists
Pianists serve in our Sunday worship gatherings. Accompanists are also needed for our choirs.
Drama Team
Skits, plays, and reader's theater occasionally enhance our worship gatherings.
Banner Makers
This is a very artistic ministry of creating and making banners for our church to highlight special events and seasons.
Orchestra
Many opportunities for orchestral accompaniment on Sunday mornings as well as in programs for special occasions are available to instrumentalists.
